Description (EN): Development of cultural tourism in historical Bucovina by facilitating and promoting the intangible cultural heritage of the ethnic communities living in Suceava county and the Chernivtsi region.

Expected Results (EN):

Conservation of the intangible cultural heritage of 7 ethnic groups in Suceava county and 5 ethnic groups in the Chernivtsi region through research and documentation activities and creation of digital databases with the intangible cultural heritage specific to these ethnic groups; Promoting and revitalizing the intangible cultural heritage elements, with touristic potential, of 7 ethnic groups in Suceava county and 5 ethnic groups in the Chernivtsi region through cross-border cultural events and printed, audio-video and online materials; The introduction of the intangible cultural elements of the 12 ethnic groups from Suceava county and Chernivtsi region in the internal and international tourism circuit, aiming to increase the number of tourists.

Expected Outputs (EN):

2 Intangible cultural heritage of 7 ethnicities in Suceava county and 5 ethnicities in Chernivtsi will be researched by specialists in the field of history and ethnography, will be filmed and photographed and two digital databases will be made with the elements of this intangible heritage that will be posted on the project web site. The information in these databases will be used for the production of promotional materials (booklets, albums, books, leaflets, documentaries and promotion films) and the elaboration of a common strategy for promoting the intangible cultural heritage of ethnicities in Suceava county and Chernivtsi region; 35000 Citizens from Suceava county and Chernivtsi region will be aware through: - organizing 2 cultural cross-border events (one in Suceava and one in Chernivtsi) where ethnic representatives will distribute promotional material to visitors and will offer culinary products, photo exhibitions will be organized, documentary films will be broadcast and will be organized a symposium within will be released a book and a documentary film about the intangible cultural heritage of the ethnic groups in Suceava county and the Chernivtsi region. - making 4 TV shows and 4 radio shows and their broadcasting in Suceava and Chernivtsi region. - creating a trilingual website (RO, UA, EN). - producing and distributing of 24,400 bilingual and trilingual promotional materials: 1,000 albums, 1,000 books, 1,000 booklets, 1,000 DVDs 20,400 folded leaflets. - producing and broadcasting 13 documentary videos and 2 promotion videos; 5 Common products and services will be promoted through: - organizing 2 tourism fairs (one in Suceava and one in Chernivtsi) where ethnic representatives will distribue promotional material to visitors, there will be presented traditional art products and. set up photographic exhibitions with cultural heritage objectives from the project, documentary and promotional films will be screened, demonstrations of the creation of traditional handicraft products specific to ethnicities will be made, cultural and artistic performances and seminars will be organized. - organizing 2 round-tables (one in Suceava and one in Chernivtsi) on the topic "Valorisation of the intangible cultural heritage of the ethnicities of Suceava county and the Chernivtsi region through common tourism products and services" - elaboration of a common strategy for promotion and valorisatuion of the intangible cultural heritage of the ethnic groups in Suceava and Chernivtsi.
